Application
Non-metallic, light and flexible marine cable approved by Germanischer Lloyd and Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for fixed installation on ships and offshore facilities. for use in vital communication and emergency systems that must be operational during fire. The cable has a design that ensures operation for 1½ hours in fires up to 750 °C. With non-metallic rodent protection and for a high tensile force of 2500 N. For fixed installation indoors and outdoors, in cable ducts and pipes.
Construction
Jelly filled loose tube, outer diameter 3.5 mm with 2-12 optical fibres and outer diameter 4.0 mm with 14-24 optical fibres.
Tube colour: yellow (E9/125) or green (G50/125)
Fiber colour: Acc. to IEC 60304
FRNC, orange.
Wall thickness approx. 1.2 mm.
With two opposed ripcords under the jacket.
Inner fire barrier: Fire protection tape made of woven glass
Outer fire barrier: Multifunctional E-glass yarns, wrapped in two layers (left and right spin), as strain relief element and non-metallic rodent protection.
